Shift Manager

At Idaho Pacific, our Shift Managers rule! Shift Managers help lead and oversee our facility during off-hours or times when management is not present or available. Responsibilities include oversight of production, quality, maintenance, safety, food safety, sanitation and personnel. Legible record-keeping in English necessary. Bi-lingual in English / Spanish helpful, but not required. Prior supervisory experience necessary, knowledge of food manufacturing very helpful. Shift Managers work a 12-hour schedule, 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.., rotating every three months to 8:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m. This is a hands-on opportunity that can be very physical.

Lean Manufacturing Manager

The Lean Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for leadership and development of programs that educate teammates about lean concepts that lead to the identification, development, and implementation of improvements at all company facilities. Working hand in hand with plant managers in implementing, training, planning, scheduling, coaching and sustaining lean programs and continue improvement activities. Will coordinate and work with all departments involved. Bi-lingual in English / Spanish helpful, but not required. A Bachelor's degree with emphasis in manufacturing or business or a related field is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in food manufacturing is preferred. Must be willing to travel; valid passport is necessary. 

Ingredient Sales Associate

The Ingredient Sales Associate will be responsible for domestic ingredient sales for assigned accounts along with responsibility for developing new domestic ingredients in the Baking and Industrial business. Will develop new domestic ingredient customers while maintaining current customer relationships, which include but not limited to negotiating sales, working with the sales staff during all stages of the sales process, identify prospects, making sales presentations, and providing product information. Previous sales experience is not required, but is preferred. Must be willing to travel. Working hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, or as job requires.


At Idaho Pacific, our electrician’s are essential to the team! The Electrician is responsible to perform occasional urgent corrections and routine maintenance, troubleshooting, problem solving and repairs of powered equipment and food manufacturing and packaging machinery. This position works primarily day shifts but must be willing to work any shift for a 24/7 operation, including weekends, holidays and overtime as needed. Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the maintenance of our food processing equipment, supervise maintenance personnel, and keeping our equipment in top-notch condition and safe for operation. This position will work under the direction of the Plant Manager and will be involved with the maintenance, repair, or replacement of parts and equipment throughout the manufacturing and production areas, packaging areas, raw receiving areas, buildings and structures, warehouses, offices, and company grounds. Maintenance tasks include, but are not limited to: overseeing the preventative maintenance program, troubleshooting, inspection, testing, diagnostics, maintenance, repair, removal and replacement of parts and/or equipment, and keeping the areas of responsibility audit-ready at all times. Must ensure machinery and equipment are maintained to regulatory and company standards and are safe for operation. Supervisory responsibilities include overseeing maintenance personnel, time-keeping, performance management, scheduling, assigning work activities, and prioritizing tasks.The Maintenance Supervisor will report to the Assistant Plant Manager and the Plant Manager.

Food Service Labourer

Agrawest Investment Ltd. is looking for Food Service Laborers to join their pouch line team! This position requires the ability to multi-task, and must be adaptable to change.The Food Service Laborer inspects the main product flow and removes any product defects and all foreign material, fills the pouches with finished product then weighs the bag to ensure that the bag is at weight set by lead person, and properly place the bag into the sealing machine. The Food Service Laborer also checks all seals on bags to ensure no product can leak and positions bags in the correct layout in preparation for shipping.

The successful candidate must be authorized to work in Canada. No relocation assistance is available. The successful candidate must also be able to keep accurate, complete, and legible records in English, certify and follow all procedures and guidelines, have excellent housekeeping/sanitation practices and have the ability to complete certification of training in appropriate areas. This is a permanent Full Time position starting at $14.50 / hour.

Lead Hand/Supervisor

As a Lead Hand, you will have a very thorough understanding of the overall potato granule plant. Reporting directly to the Shift Manager, you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the granule dry process. This position operates on a scheduled 12-hour day/night shift, with overtime a possibility. Responsibilities include monitoring all area process parameters in the production line, troubleshooting and corrects problems to ensure optimum operating conditions, interpreting analytical and operating reports, working with the control room to review line performance, line parameters and lab results on line study, overseeing additive batches and flow rates, reporting and communication with the Shift Manager on line performance, employee performance, safety issues and any other issues pertinent to the production line, operating and oversee operation of the forklift and Hoist, recording and removal of disintegrated and fractionated production waste, seeing to the line workers needs i.e.: safety wear, performing routine maintenance and repair according to plant practice, assists plant maintenance when necessary, informing other employees of unsafe working and operating practices, and reports any action he/she sites to supervisor if not corrected immediately, performing any duty assigned, including plant clean-up, housekeeping or operation of any area required, ensuring all daily operating reports are properly kept and following all housekeeping policies according to good manufacturing practices. The successful candidate will have good writing, communication and math skills, experience in an automated food processing plant an asset, excellent housekeeping/sanitation practices, and the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and correct situations. Applicants with lesser qualifications may be considered.

Assistant Agglomerate Line Operator

The Assistant Agglomerate Line Operator involves assisting the operation and equipment of product line. Must keep the product in specification while still maintaining high quality product. Must be able to keep accurate and legible records. Responsibilities include ensuring that the product being packaged is in specification and to work with the QA and Granule Operators to make a quality cost effective product, checking scales and tote weights at the beginning and during the shift, meeting all QA specifications on all finished product; including physical attributes as well as proper labeling for all totes, being responsible for housekeeping and general appearance of agglomerate line and surrounding area, checking at the start of the shift and during product changes that the totes, date codes, stickers, etc. are correct for product that they are running, practicing good safety practices at all times, keeping Food Service supervisor informed of progress and/or problems, and completing other responsibilities deemed necessary by supervisor. The successful applicant will have good oral/written communication skills, excellent leadership skills, ability to work well with supervisor and other employees, have the ability to analyze, troubleshoot and correct situations and be reliable and able to work overtime as needed. Some heavy lifting may be required (up to 50 lbs.) and you may be in contact with dust or chemicals.
