Drum Operator

$16.50 an hour to start.

Our Drum Operators are a key part to our process for turning a raw potato into potato flakes. Drum Operators monitor the dehydrators and related equipment to help ensure our products are of the finest quality. The successful applicant will have the responsibility to transfer cooked potatoes for further processing, change out equipment as necessary, watch for and eliminate defects, avoid cross-contamination and keep tools and equipment clean and sterile.

Experience is helpful but not required as we will train on-the-job. Must be willing to work in hot temperatures with occasional low visibility due to steam. Must be able to safely work around moving machinery and follow our safety and good manufacturing practices. Shifts are 12 hours with scheduled days and every other weekend off.

Flumer

Forecaster / Purchaser

This is an excellent opportunity for you to source materials and purchase items we need to make the best products and ingredients.  The successful candidate will have sourcing, purchasing, and contracting responsibilities for three U.S. food manufacturing facilities, and on a limited basis some purchasing responsibility for our Canadian facility. The Purchaser  will work with the packaging and production areas to develop production plans, purchase departmental needs, and manage materials and ingredient inventory levels to ensure inventory is sufficient to prevent running out of necessary items. Proactively work to ensure purchases are at the best prices for quality, service levels, reliability and availability.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of one-year experience in forecasting and purchasing experience; a background in a manufacturing business environment is highly preferred.

Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance of our food processing equipment, supervise maintenance personnel, and keep our equipment in top-notch condition and safe for operation. The Maintenance Manager will be involved with the maintenance, repair, or replacement of parts and equipment throughout the manufacturing and production areas, packaging areas, raw receiving areas, buildings and structures, warehouses, offices, and company grounds. Maintenance tasks include, but are not limited to: overseeing the preventative maintenance program, troubleshooting, inspection, testing, diagnostics, maintenance, repair, removal and replacement of parts and/or equipment, and keeping the areas of responsibility audit-ready at all times. Must ensure machinery and equipment are maintained to regulatory and company standards and are safe for operation. Drum Sanitation

The Forklift Operator lifts, stacks, tiers and moves finished product, waste, equipment or materials using a forklift.
